Participation is for everyone

It is important for everyone, from an early age, to feel that they matter and are part of a community. Children and young people can be actively involved when they receive sufficient information about plans and decisions, are able to express their opinions and are listened to in matters that concern them, and when they can influence decisions that affect them.

what do we do?

There are still many children in our society who are not heard and who need special support to become involved in matters that concern them. We want to promote equal opportunities for every child to participate and increase knowledge and understanding to enhance the inclusion of children and young people. There are many ways to support the participation of children and young people, and we believe that we all need to promote it.

We aim for ethical and meaningful participation for every child and young person. In its efforts to influence policymaking, the union wants to really hear what children and young people have to say.
